The “Volta a Mallorca” is well known both locally and internationally, gathering over 6,000 bikers for the once a year event, making it one of the most famous motorcycle-tourism events. Its participants break all predictions and stereotypes, bringing together heterogeneous groups of people and all kinds of scooters, motorcycles, trikes and quads for over 300km. tour of the most unique and idyllic landscapes offered by the Island. The uniqueness of this poster lies not only in its spectacular design - a very affectionate combining of the most well-known architectural icon of the Balearic Islands in the background and a very cool biker in the grip of a millisecond rush of adrenaline as he races round a corner - but also in its very early use of airbrush printing which in this case was applied on the motorcycle wheels, to increase the sensation of volume, speed and movement; quite a discovery.
