With the gifting season about to get into full swing, we want to give you a great, big heartfelt THANK YOU from all of us at Stick No Bills®.
You’re here because you’ve purchased a piece of poster art with us, visited one of our four galleries around the world or found us online – and for this we are grateful.
Created from the beaches of Sri Lanka to make the world a more beautiful place, at Stick No Bills® we are more than an independent, family-run company; we’re building a new kind of creative brand, and we’re delighted to have you along for the ride.
Stick No Bills® is a real entity in real places staffed by real people – creating and selling real works of art that were made by real, live humans! In a world increasingly about AI and analytics, automatisation and algorithms, we are proudly human.
From the official poster artworks we have remastered under licence from some of the world’s most iconic brand’s archives to the new, vintage-style posters we create, we are about celebrating human talent and culture.
This year has seen new collections from the archives of treasured brands such as British Airways and American legends Pan Am, Braniff International Airways and Panagra. Another particular highlight has been creating a poster artwork for the New York Yacht Club American Magic team, Challengers in the 37th America’s Cup, which was held in October in Barcelona. (We still have a few Limited Editions of this poster left!).
We have also opened two new galleries, our Europe Flagship Gallery in the heart of Barcelona’s art district in El Born, as well as a Middle East Flagship in Dubai, where Founders Meg Gage Williams and her husband Phil Baber first came up with the idea for a vintage poster art business back in the early 2000’s. Our Stick No Bills® Global Poster Gallery at the Imprenta Nueva Balear in Palma de Mallorca has become an emblematic destination for art lovers on the island, and we are poised for exciting developments in Britain and beyond.
So from the global team behind Stick No Bills®; men and women, young and old, from just about every continent, working and sharing ideas across time zones in several different languages; thank you.
We hope you will join us this gifting season in supporting businesses like ours: creative, small, human and with our feet respectfully placed on the earth we share.
