Collection: Air Ceylon
Air Ceylon was the former flag carrier airline of then-Ceylon, today’s Sri Lanka. After Stick No Bills® launched a first gallery in Galle Fort, Sri Lanka, in 2011, it soon became clear that authorised, licensed collections such as this one, were key to developing the global proposition. Thus began the Stick No Bills® journey into twentieth century travel marketing destination poster artworks, starting in Sri Lanka and now extending all over the world.
The airline discontinued flights to Europe in early 1978 and finally ceased all local services on 31 August 1979, when it was replaced by Air Lanka.
