Some anniversaries pass quietly. This one has filled an entire city.
2026 marks one hundred years since the death of Antoni Gaudí, the visionary Catalan architect whose works define the skyline of Barcelona. The Government of Catalonia has declared it Gaudí Year 2026, and the city, also holding the UNESCO title of World Capital of Architecture this year, has responded with commemorations across more than 75 venues. There have been façade mappings, world premieres, exhibitions and, on 14 June, a grand popular parade that set off from the doorstep of Casa Batlló itself.
To honour the moment, Stick No Bills® presents ‘Gaudí Centenary’, a new, vintage-style poster artwork created with our Chief Poster Artist Mads Berg. It depicts the master architect standing before his masterpiece, Casa Batlló, and it is sold exclusively at Simbòlic, the Casa Batlló boutique at Passeig de Gràcia 43, and online.
The artwork
The composition places Antoni Gaudí in front of the shimmering, dragon-backed façade of Casa Batlló, the house he transformed between 1904 and 1906. The palette is drawn from the city he shaped: deep Mediterranean blues rising to a sunlit golden sky, the light of Barcelona rendered in the modern art deco style for which Mads Berg is renowned.
Two dates frame the design. 1852, the year of Gaudí's birth in the province of Tarragona. And 2026, his centenary year. Between them lies one of the most extraordinary creative lives in the history of architecture, from Park Güell and La Pedrera to the Sagrada Família, whose Tower of Jesus Christ was completed this very year, a century after his death.
The third poster of Casa Batlló
‘Gaudí Centenary’ is the third poster artwork of Casa Batlló from Stick No Bills. The first two, also created with Chief Poster Artist Mads Berg, depict the house in autumn and in spring, capturing the changing light on the famous ceramic façade through the seasons.
This new artwork is the first in the series to feature Antoni Gaudí himself. After two portraits of the building, it felt right, in his centenary year, to show the man who imagined it.

Sold exclusively at Casa Batlló
The new artwork is available exclusively at Simbòlic, the boutique within Casa Batlló itself, as well as via our website. There is something rather special about that. Visitors who have just walked through the house, up its ocean-blue lightwell and out onto the dragon-spine roof, can take home a licensed poster artwork of the very building they are standing in.
Casa Batlló has been at the heart of the Gaudí Year 2026 celebrations. In January, the house presented Hidden Order, a façade mapping by United Visual Artists inspired by Gaudí's belief that nature follows geometric principles. It has since opened Casa Batlló Contemporary, a new exhibition space on the second floor. We are honoured that our artwork now sits within this story.
Printed in the Mediterranean, to museum-quality standards
Every Stick No Bills fine art print is produced at our Global Printworks at the Imprenta Nueva Balear in Palma de Mallorca, the oldest active printworks in the western Mediterranean, operated by the Aguiló family since 1917. Our fourth-generation master printer, Roberto Aguiló, oversees each hand-numbered edition.
We print on premium matte finish paper stock and superior quality cotton canvas, using archival, pigmented inks guaranteed to be fade-proof.
