Celebrating Mallorquín Creativity and Heritage at the ABTA Conference in Mallorca, October 2025

This October, we were delighted to welcome members of the British travel industry to our Stick No Bills Poster Gallery and Printworks at the Imprenta Nueva Balear in Palma de Mallorca as part of the official program for the ABTA Travel Conference being held on the island.

Every ABTA conference attendee received a special gift: a postcard featuring a stunning 1950s map of Mallorca sourced from our Mallorca Vintage Collection created from the archives of El Fomento del Turismo de Mallorca — the world's oldest tourist board with whom we were delighted to partner on this project. Alongside this keepsake, guests were also presented with a discount card valid at any of our galleries in Palma, Barcelona, Dubai, or Galle Fort, Sri Lanka.

During the visit, fourth-generation printmaster Roberto Aguiló introduced the art of traditional printing with the century-old printing machines that are still in working order at the Printworks, representing an unbroken tradition of mallorquín craftsmanship and heritage.

Guests explored our carefully curated collection of authorised vintage travel posters from around the world, including our collection sourced from the archives of the Fomento del Turismo de Mallorca, alongside artworks from iconic airlines including Pan Am, BOAC, and Lufthansa.

Our collaboration with ABTA and the British tourism industry reflects our commitment to preserving printing heritage while connecting travelers with the destinations that inspire them. Whether it's a 1950s Mallorca travel poster or a contemporary, modern art deco style posters, every artwork at Stick No Bills celebrates the enduring appeal of travel, adventure and curiosity about other cultures and places.

Visit our galleries in Palma, Barcelona, Dubai, or Galle Fort to discover licensed vintage travel posters and experience where heritage meets contemporary style. As we always say: the journey has only just begun.
