Celebrating the Imprenta Nueva Balear and our joint venture the Stick No Bills® Global Poster Gallery
Our partner in the creation of the Stick No Bills® Global Poster Gallery at the Imprenta Nueva Balear has just been awarded the PIMEN Federation prize for Best Small Business in Mallorca this year. This is a huge honor for the oldest working printworks in the city, and we're incredibly proud to work with this historic and emblematic institution in our joint mission to ensure Mallorca’s beautiful cultural heritage is enjoyed and preserved for generations to come.
A Legacy of Printing
The Imprenta Nueva Balear, a fourth-generation family business, boasts a rich history dating back over a century. Based in a hundred year-old warehouse now in the same block as the Corte Inglés department store, theirs is a story of remarkable resilience and creativity, adapting and thriving through times of adversity and change. Today they run a state-of-the-art printworks and topnotch design facility alongside our shared Stick No Bills® Global Poster Gallery which allows for the antique, still functioning printing machinery to be on display to the public for the first time, as well as a full array of exhibited Stick No Bills® licensed and authorised poster artworks and fine art prints.
Our Shared Vision
As part of our commitment to preserving and celebrating the artistic heritage of Mallorca, we've partnered with Imprenta Nueva Balear to publish a selection of curated, restored, remastered and recreated vintage posters from their archives, produced under license by Stick No Bills® for the very first time. This means the traditional posters the Imprenta created for local bars, restaurants and village fiestas decades ago can now be purchased and shipped to any corner of the world. We love being a part of this international celebration of mallorquín heritage, convinced this is an important part of building the careful, respectful and sustainable future tourism model for this beautiful island.
